Rock, Paper, Scissors, Geisha

I can’t help but love this video from my recent visit to the Chiba Prefecture. Rock, Paper, Scissors with a geisha in Kisarazu, Japan. It is a really a game. It is a drinking game that the geisha practice and become pretty good at — I was beaten pretty soundly during my RPS showdown. There are turns and drumming and three losses in a row means the game is over. Sadly a dying art, there are only 13 geishas left Kisarazu, so this is a rare opportunity to see the geishas in Rock, Paper, Scissors action. This video stars the geishas of Kisarazu, Derk Robinson (http://www.afar.com/blog/) and Jenny Block (http://www.jennyonthepage.com).
